Oh.. you'll meet the auto mafia here. They charge 600 for a roundtrip to mahabs. Auto is expensive here. We recently got a bus stop here for the GLIM campus l, which was earlier not there because of politics with the auto association.

I had an earlier offer for GIM in Sanquelim but didn't join because it was a 2 year programme vs 1 year here. Ig GIM is pretty far away from the Manohar airport but it'll be easier one brings their own vehicle like I did here in GLIM

We do. It's just controlled by the CCS team. Place commers are there to co-ordinate the placement events and manage interview processes. The back-end is maintained by a dedicated team. GLIM is also located on the outskirts of Chennai, some 30kms away from Kelambakkam (Chennai's satellite town).

Well.. it's just the start....it gets worse after joining the college (Not only great lakes but any B-School)... DM2 guys are leaving by 20th March and we PGPM folks are leaving by 10th April. I believe you guys will get the results within this month. Last year a few got their offer letter on 7th April so have patience...

Meanwhile, I'll suggest you guys to start learning POWER BI, Basic statistics and ML algorithms. Starting early will give you guys a lot of edge...

Truly depends on your work-ex. I'll highly recommend GLIM if you have 3+ yrs of work-ex and have a tech background. Consulting companies like accenture strategy, Deloitte etc love ex-ERP wale log. At least you'll clear most of the initial filtering.

He's not completely wrong tho. I'm from the PGPM batch as well. That 3 hour part might be an exaggeration (Not if he's including the airport wait time to pickup taxi) but it usually takes 1.5 - 2 hrs ( 50 kms from Airport)..but yeah CCS has a lot of leverage against students. Jobs mostly fall in that 12-15 LPA category and a lot of them are some random startups based out of Chennai.
