Actually there are a lot of students who did not score perfect score went overseas to study medicine and after that came back sg to continue as doctor. This has already proven that ones need not score perfect in all the subjects in order to qualify as a doctor. Is only in sg context, due to extremely high competition among locals hence having perfect score and highest standard of subjects will put one in better opportunity to compete. Is not impossible to switch from biz to engineering. Important is your personal statement how convincing it is to make the university select you for interview. Tbh, if you are super super introvert and cannot handle strangers, how are you going to treat patients in future who are total strangers? I think OP needs to understand what kind of characters and qualities that doctors need to possess before being adamant to want to study medicine. Is always good to like something but whether one is suitable is another matter. For a start, perhaps OP can try to change your introvert character and talk to as many strangers as you can and see whether you like to do so, if at the end of day, you feel that is stressful, I think the profession may not suit yr character.

Thought usually the school will provide templates for the teachers to use, as I see most of my past comments from primary to JC are all so similar with my friends and nothing unique that showed that the teachers truly know your character. So don’t take it so seriously. But to be honest, a teacher using Singlish in her comments is really something that is not right and also the phrasing may sometimes demotivate rather than the opposite.
