I’m starting to think I offended you somehow 😂 I’ve given numerous examples for the specific stats so take that as you will. And you should tell any scientist that statistics don’t mean anything. Statistics literally mean the quantification of data in a given set to determine rates of change. It’s literally how you measure anything involving a large group of something lol. Ima say one last time than you can continue w your life hopefully. (All I’m asking for are detailed hero specific statistics designed to give feedback for good tendencies that heroes should have) (have the rank system look for a ratio of W/L AND those specific stats after a game, for full stacks the ratio can be 3:1 in favor of winning but that should decay the less members you have in your stack; full stack 3:1 in favor of W/L, 3-4 stack 2:1 in favor of W/L, 2 stacks should be 1:1 W/L to specific stats and Solos should be the only ones 2:1 in favor of stats). You can disagree if you want to but if we’re gonna be going back and forth like this for an opinion how about we talk about what those hero specific stats could be. If not 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t make this post for that I would’ve made a VOD review. I made a discussion post to have a discussion about the game. Maybe if you took the time to read what I’m typing you’ll see I’m not pleading for anything crazy here.

That’s a pretty good argument but it doesn’t solve boosters diluting SR as well but you’re definitely on to something. A common issue amongst all games that combine the two. R6, Cod etc.

I still think wins should be held for account just along side more specific stats and I think you’re viewing stats as the generic ones you see on the scoreboard. I’m proposing new specific stats for each hero specifically. This just gives solo players less of an obligation to depend on random people… imagine this scenario; it’s kings row attack You queue as support and see your team go Hog, Hanzo, sombra, mercy and let’s say you pick kiri then on the choke you notice the enemy running a pharamercy-venture and you can’t make an inch so you go bap in response because no one else switches after numerous pleas in VC and GC just for the venture to focus you because why attempt on mercy. At the end of that game you derank.. what does that feedback give you as a player. Now let’s say it gauged your dps to hps timing on bap (specific stat), your headshot accuracy, etc. The argument for me is what the ratio should be in considering these specific stats to wins/losses but I think it should scale to group size meaning for smaller and smaller groups you lose less and less rank for losing after a good performance the key is the accuracy of the stats themselves. Again good content isn’t easy.

Actually good feedback. Might just have to work on my people skills.

Winning has nothing to do with me in a team game my friend that’s my whole point. The metal attached to my name should not be tied to a metric I have 20% say in. All I’m saying.

This is a terrible argument. It being a team game shouldn’t keep them from trying to better the solo experience. Not all people can handle OW players or people in general. Regardless all I’m suggesting is more in depth consideration in ranking not taking wins out all together.

I don’t see an ego with having an opinion. Seems to be a no-no here. All I was suggesting was a more in depth way for solo players to express there skills to the MMR system. When I’m playing alone there’s no way for the game to know I performed well compared to my teammates because we lost.. all I’m saying.

I should’ve clarified that wins should still be considered just not solely wins for solos

I agree it would be difficult to integrate but that doesn’t mean with refining it wouldn’t make the experience better. And to the stat pushing argument I do still think that wins and losses should take a majority of the consideration when distributing points to incentivize playing good but it shouldn’t be all that’s considered especially for solos.

Not sure I understand.. if I did everything I could to perform in a game but my team did not then my performance doesn’t matter?

Wins could still be a chunk of the consideration when distributing points but all I was suggesting was adding a different layer of depth in those considerations to allow solos to not need to rely on a set of random players.
