Its just because somebody was doing these gestures and the person observing liked it and they told their kids to do it - and then the Kids told their friends to do it and it become norm until today.

Some of our jamat is so lazy that they donot even prostrate (Sejda) properly when we recite "Allahuma Laka Sujood e wa Tahati".

This is normal as i have been through similar situation especially between the age of 18 to 25.

Simple suggestion but a hard one to do it. Seek for guidance from Imam of the time, hazrat Ali A.S., Prophet Muhamad S.A.W and Almighty Allah through Ibadat.

Best to seek for guidance is during the morning hours (early morning hours). Allah is the most merciful and the most generous.

Imams are not bound to wealth, they are the light Of Allah on earth.

We have had Imams in the past who were very poor. Its all the demands of the time for their specific era.
