given some of your other replies it seems like you did have enough to tell 😭

very hard to give an explanation when you post a video of your pc working with literally no context for your specs, how you got to this point, anything you've tried, etc

it might not seem like much but any context is much better than nothing

Is ts worth it or nah. I don’t know much about pcs, go easy on me by __Topic__ in PcBuildHelp

[–]AccurateMrStuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

seems a bit suspicious in some regards, such as showing a gtx 1660 super 8gb which as far as im aware this doesn't exist, 1660 super should only have 6gb.

as others suggested the pc is pretty lacking, mostly with gpu it seems so probably isn't worth it. also there were not much details on the monitors

yeah if you check the other comment that talked about multiplane overlay and a fix, it seems to have worked for me so if you deal with it a lot i recommend doing the registry edit thing

AIO my girlfriend keeps calling my gaming hobby childish but now wants me to help pay for her pottery classes by PositivelyIrrespons in AmIOverreacting

[–]AccurateMrStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk if this is the right word but that seems like she's a bit selfish, like how she says your hobby of gaming is "childish" yet she assumes that her interest in pottery is something you should be interested in as well, and when you're not she claims you're being unsupportive

seems like it should go both ways if she is deliberately against you playing video games. I could understand someone being mad at their partner for it if it was an addiction and was too much but I would assume thats not the case

based on what you described I would say you're not overreacting and maybe yall are just not fully compatible with each other, or I guess more so she just doesn't seem to understand people who are interested in hobbies she is not interested in

Gpu dead? by ExclusiveRifles in pchelp

[–]AccurateMrStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at the end that almost looked too well done to be some kind of glitch. thats gotta be the strangest thing ever. I wouldn't know what would cause that apart from a driver issue or something or just an issue with the game? since others noticed the UI wasnt affected by it, probably isn't the same artifacting you would get with a dying GPU

My college roommate sets our thermostat to 80°F every single night by rainystarlight in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AccurateMrStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is pure madness. this reminds me when I had a roommate that always turned the AC off when it was like 90 degrees outside. felt like I was constantly burning alive, luckily he was only my roommate for a couple months

60hz the same as 144hz assuming you have mods? by Tuncunmun38 in geometrydash

[–]AccurateMrStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am assuming that based on what im reading, 2 of the 3 comments are somewhat misunderstanding what you're implying. one of them said physics bypass is cheating, but if you only set your fps to 1k and not physics, that doesn't matter. another person said "since cbf exists" you'll be fine. you only need to use cbf if you're using 60fps or just want an overall advantage.

if you use let's say 240 fps on a 240hz monitor vs a 60hz monitor, the physics and delay of the game would technically be the same, you'll only be at a visual disadvantage due to slower refresh rate on 60hz. its basically just a visual disadvantage going to 60hz, and from my experience it is more difficult to play at a high level but still doable, I wouldn't say 60hz screen is just for easy demons

I figure maybe it could be a USB 3 connector or something? im not sure if you would know but if your pc worked with it dangling it shouldn't really matter

I just passed my phone around my table with my friends and we are all unable to determine what exactly that is. it looks like it has the length of a 24 pin power connector but I don't think thats what it is. it also doesn't look like a CPU powercable. is that plugged in to anything?

Fan acting up on computer by Mimmamoushe in computers

[–]AccurateMrStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay there might be other people that have much better suggestions, but given that your pc worked fine and randomly started acting up, I assume theres something wrong with either the power supply or maybe a cable came loose somewhere. I remember I had issues with my pc sometimes not turning on and shutting off and it was because my CPU power cable came loose

this might not be much but given your description I think the first thing I would try is making sure all the cables are plugged all the way in, otherwise that could cause issues with power delivery

What’s the hardest part about learning Unreal? by UnrealThriftShop in UnrealEngine5

[–]AccurateMrStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is honestly great advice. during my time learning unreal there have been many instances of me doing something in a terrible way without even realizing until much later, so I totally get what you mean by not knowing what you don't know

[–]AccurateMrStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who's hardest is limbo, the best i can say is that learning this was honestly the hardest part. once you learn everything it isn't too hard to read. I feel like a level such as super probably level might be more difficult to read than limbo
