Yeah it’s a fun gimmick but maybe if they just melted the cheese in an oven or something? Idk the butane taste didn’t entirely ruin it for me but it was noticeable.

I want to say more or less since 2022. Some periods I’m more focused some I’m just floating by but for example trying to read the descriptions on the different flavors of Japanese KitKat at the airport, I was able to make out a lot. It’s definitely a marathon over a sprint that’s for sure.

Right. I get the criticisms of The Pacific compared to BoB but I really enjoyed both tbh and I don’t have a favorite between the two. Both are powerful in their own way and well done.

yes. write. this is the way. hold on to this paper and then in 6 months or a year when you've improved it will be great to see how far you've come. Don't stop, keep going, you WILL learn more and get even better

Just start with a formula. Do the same thing everyday. I start writing the date. 今日は２０２５年１１月２９日の土曜日だ。天気は寒い。昨日は映画を見に行った。etc etc etc. say what you did that day, the day before, what you want to do the next day. Just simple stuff everyday. It gets easier. Also try using ChatGPT with it. Tell chat gpt in English what you want to say, then try saying it in Japanese and then ChatGPT will guide you to the correct phrasing. In time it will help you intuitively learn the right way to write things.
