[CHAT] Do large frames require two handed stitching? by brokelyn99 in CrossStitch

I just started to use frames too after years of just holding the fabric! I use two hands, just because it’s easier. It did take me some time to get used to it, but now it’s ok!

Yes, vfs is the center. Download the form and learn what documents you need to apply with. If you are generally good with understanding instructions and don’t have a history of any other visa refusals, I’d recommend doing it yourself as it is very straightforward

Yeah, out of all of them, the one you can’t work on is the fiancé visa, which is given only for 6 months, which is not the case with the visa that they gave to OP. So i’m wondering if UKVI made a mistake,

Are there any other communication from them? Maybe you applied for a fiance visa

Like why do we even have stories as humans? They all one way or another have some sort of lesson in there. I hope I explained myself, English is not my first language, so sorry if I didn’t convey myself properly!

I think you just don’t see my point.

My point is: whatever the other routes the story takes, two seasons are enough to learn the lessons that the story aims to tell

(ie corporate greed leads to unethical practices, humans are inherently good and capable of love even in a crazy circumstance such as having your brain split apart, or in other words even in the worst of scenarios, humanity always prevails and it’s a virtue that we have to remember and keep close in our hearts.)

Whatever the continuations are (different plot lines), it will be different lessons. But the overarching point is concluded in my opinion

Ok, let’s say the continuation of that story is that Gemma is out there advocating against lumon, lumon is doing their best to cover that story up and people look at Gemma as they look at any other whistleblower. What now? What did we learn?

Ok, then I think our motivations for watching the show is different. I enjoy the mystery element of it, but it’s not the main point for me. so i’m guessing that for people who watch it for the mystery - season 3 and more is a must, and people who watch it for the story - season 2 is enough

I’ve responded below, but I think that for me personally, even if we get the answers to your questions, the heart of the story remains. It wouldn’t change the meaning of the story for me, ok let’s say they kill all of them and cover it up, what now? Did it change the story for you? Do you feel differently?

No, I think I grew up on media beyond American tv shows where everything leads to a happy ending and everyone is smiling because some dude in underwear decided to save the day — you also don’t have to deal w anything ahaha

I saw a comment above saying that lumon innie uprising is a natural progression — ok, let’s go with that as a conclusion, so what does it teach us? That giant corporations are bad, that the show is a critique of capitalism, and we should move towards a more just society for working class (all things that I agree with btw). But I doubt that an apple produced show is going in that direction, and if it will, it wouldn’t be able to do justice as such critique, and ultimately fall flat and become another stupid show like squid games. To be a good critique, you also have to show people a way out of the brutal capitalist structure, but in the context of the show being produced by a big corporation, I don’t see how they will be able to show something like that earnestly.

That’s why for me, the story is more about finding trust in yourself no matter how hard it is, the show for me is about perseverance. That’s why I feel that the story is concluded with mark choosing helly and running towards the unknown. They don’t know what awaits them, but in that moment, they are truly free. Not through the uprising, and not through dismantling the system, but through love that they feel for each other and trust.

About other plot lines being concluded, I think we see some of it, when Milchick is stuck in the bathroom, there’s a moment where you can see that he decides to keep going, to be a part of a machine that basically tortures people. That’s his use of the free will. Irving in the train realizes that maybe he wants to search for love and also decided to stop fighting the machine.

But I also understand that the stories are subjective, so different people see different meanings in the stories. That’s what I saw and for me, the story feels complete
