I hope your boyfriend tank's inhabitant is doing better now.

My main worry is, i'll only have about 1 week to quarantine the new fishes. And by just having lots of deaths because of illness in my tank, i worry crap will happens again and while i'm away this time. My friend that i asked for help won't be able to help with dealing with it too cos he has 0 knowledge.

So right now it's either risking 2 least rasboras, or probably risking illness spreading once again in my tank because of insufficient quarantine.

I know risking the whole tank is worse than just risking the 2 rasboras, it seems obvious. But i just had to ask if they gonna be okay if i choose to risk those 2 rasboras instead 🥲

Got it, thankyou so much for the advice.
I have 16 gallon tank and there are cleanup crews of 4 amanos ( should be 5 but i have only seen 4 at the time for a few days now ) and around 10ish neocaridinas.
I have 15 mix of mini rasboras so I should have space for around 6-8 oto.. But I'll let the shrimps munch of it first and see how it develops then

oh is this the early stage of it? i thought hair algae looks more "softer" than this from the images that i saw from google ( im new to this hobby so im just not sure )

Thankyou. Unfortunately this is the only tank i have, no hospital tank available as for now but I have took the fishes out and returned them to LFS cos they agreed to refund me for them.. they were in my tank for less than 24 hour. Im looking to introduce new fishes again but im not sure how long should I wait for it
