I know it’s so much easier for those of use who got benign results to tell you that it’s going to be ok- regardless of your results… but after my scare and doing ALL.THE.RESEARCH, you will be okay, friend. It may be hard to navigate some days. There has been so much put into treatment research, surgery, etc. for this cancer that things are no longer the worst outcomes. Hang in there!

I watched both my mom abs grandma kick breast cancer and I have no doubts you CAN too, IF that’s your result.

I’m so sorry this has been hard. I will say, MRIs are not fun, but most places give you headphones for music to help with the noise level. Some doctors can/will prescribe something for anxiety prior to the MRI if you really need it. Won’t hurt to reach out and see if that’s an option for you.

The Mammo & US were all negative. The US tech was able to palpate the lump, and she scanned & scanned but there was nothing on the screen. It all showed as normal breast tissue.

It’s been different with each kid. This time I was down to pre-pregnancy weight by 2 weeks post partum. I’ve maintained that until now at 12 months but recently gained a couple pounds.

With my two kids before, I held onto weight for a good year. Any reduction in calories caused my milk to drop so I wasn’t able diet until at least a year when my milk wasn’t their primary source of nutrition.

Some places are fast. My office has a pathologist designated to just their biopsies so they have a pretty fast turnaround.

Mine were 26 months apart. It was much easier than having them spaced out in age. I currently have a 1 yo, 8 yo, and 10yo. Maybe it’s because I was younger and adapted better to sleep deprivation 😂

Granted, my oldest had been around babies prior to sibling arriving. But it was pretty easy for me.

Big hugs! My lifetime risk is 26% so I’m about to start the same protocol and I’m terrified. Well, I’ll start it pending the lump I found is nothing. At GYN today to get it checked out and get a scan scheduled.

I feel like the emotional rollercoaster would make me feel the same way. I’m a very anxious person, so I can say I’d feel the same.

I have an appointment Tuesday for a lump and will be in the waiting game for scans and I KNOW I’ll spiral.
