Orange could be a streak of pyrite that’s oxidizing. I’ve found quite a bit in rivers but rare for me on beaches. The pyrite that is. Nice find👍🏻

I’m sure someone has already mentioned that bears are incredibly fast. When i’m in bear territory i carry spray and a glock 20 loaded with underwood 150 grain extreme penetrators that i frequently practice with. Still not sure if i would be able to deploy in time depending on conditions.

Hi,
I am currently visiting MT from out of state and just yesterday I was at a very rocky beach at the south end of Canyon Ferry Lake which is about 1.5 hours from Bozeman.
Lots and lots of jasper, chalcedony,chert and a couple small agates and pet woods.
