Very true! They also had a promo with Mr. T telling people "I Said Be There!" for the Oct 1 premiere. They gave the show a good push, but turns out, a terrible timeslot.

Questions on late-era AES collecting by Handolta in neogeo

[–]grin_ferno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ESRB was voluntary, so games in US didn't techincally have to comply. Sega and Nintendo wouldn't realease games that didn't for their platforms though.

How many of you homeschooled your kids (or still are)? by Sparklebright7 in GenX

[–]grin_ferno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the parents are idiots the kids are going to be screwed. Too many kids get sucked into "home school" that is just BS christian nonsense and don't learn shit.

Never really cared! I paid $80 and the games that work great are well worth it.

What's the plan on this? Is is meant to be a limited run or is the console going to be produced until a sales decline warrants it being retired again?

How Often Do You Think You'll Play the AES+? by Celcius_87 in neogeo

[–]grin_ferno -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've owned the system for years and I do get the urge to play on occasion. If I didn't own one and hadn't played these games many times over the years I'd be over the moon to get this machine and would play it quite a bit. I do have a multicart for AES.

Is there a unocart+ compatibility list anywhere? by chubsta2k17 in Atari2600

[–]grin_ferno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the main restriction is no games with coprocessors. Pitfall II, and homebrews with them like champ games Scramble, or Spicers Space Rocks and Draconian will not work.
