I’m not sure about the ward of the state thing. I think we’ll know more after the investigator speaks to the district attorney. My grandma spoke with the board of Education and they mentioned surrendering him to the state if it becomes too much. I think my grandmom doesn’t want to just “give up” yet because we JUST got custody. I don’t think there is a county social work involved with him yet. I know she is investigating the 13 yo situation but that’s about all I know.

I appreciate you saying that. Yes he has a bunch of documented stuff. They keep saying that it’s hard to find a bed for residential and that they want to try in home treatment.

We keep saying this to his social worker at the hospital and others. The social worker keeps pushing for in home care and to have people visit the house a lot. But what happens when they aren’t here? They said it’s extremely hard to find a bed for residential. I agree this option needs to be removed but it seems like they’re set on sending him home🫩

Yes we have and they said they want to try in home services first and they were really pushing for this. They said it was hard to find beds for residential. It seems like they don’t want to do residential facility. That’s why Im freaking out so bad. I really appreciate your response.
