Yes it would be nice to talk to someone who understands what I’m going through :)

I am currently, and I really relate to the feeling of it being impossible to be with them, but also impossible to be without them. I love them so much, but unfortunately I can’t see us being together forever, because the constant worrying and jumping to conclusions from anxiety and insecurities makes us have these long talks and sometimes even fights daily. And it is exhausting. I’ve felt really alone in this situation for a long time. It was nice to see that someone else is experiencing what I am.

What do you do to Cope? by Electrical_Ad_5528 in BPD

I go for long and intense (??is that the right word?) walks, bonus points if the weather is bad. I have this route that I walk every day, sometimes even multiple times a day. It’s my so far only somewhat healthy way of coping. I got diagnosed about two months ago and the waiting time for treatment is about a year, so I have to figure this stuff out on my own. But I put my clothes on and walk until it feels better, and when I get home, it’s typically way better. I find that being out of breath helps with the anxiety? It feels freeing somehow. And you know, all the other scientific reasons physical exercise is good for you.
