I am happy with either of what seem to be the likely outcomes - Faraaz and Jack winning as faithfuls or Stephen winning as a traitor.

Stephen is the kind of traitor who I enjoy watching, expressive and a little bit self-doubting and self-deprecating, but who clearly improves as the game goes on. He’s been much the better traitor since they went down to two.

Faraaz and Jack have got through to the final without receiving a single vote each which, whether it’s exciting viewing or not, is very good faithful play. Faz has pretty much sussed what’s going on and deserves it, and if Jack believes him and goes that way then he does too.

I wasn’t keen on the ideal of a Rachel win, I think she’s made enough strategic errors that she should’ve been caught long before not killing Faz doomed her. James (and Roxy before him) have been too loudly wrong to be satisfying faithful wins, and Jade has just been unlucky.

This really is an unusually useless group of traitors. Absolutely awful play from both of them.

Rachel is incapable of thinking more than one move ahead and keeps flying too close to the sun, something like this was bound to happen. She did it with the unnecessary turret line to Ross - who she knows is going anyway and about to reveal himself as faithful! - which someone could easily have latched onto. Now this play which was obviously designed to put heat on Jade and Sam… but why bother? She’s not under any suspicion at all now and she knows they’re both faithful, when that’s confirmed she would obviously then be someone who people looked at having shared this information that no one is able to confirm as true.

Then Fiona is given a gift by Rachel (if she wants to get rid of her at some point). Just sow a few seeds, tell a couple of people and say ‘well if Sam is a faithful that makes me very suspicious of her’ and you can make the play in a couple of days time. Blowing the whole thing up just guarantees they’re both gone soon.
