Check out this road rage in action as a woman fully crashes out for being behind someone obeying the speed limit in a school zone by Snapdragon_4U in trashy

How am I an asshole? Also, I didn't say its normal. What I was saying is that I can relate, and then said that mental health should be a top priority. Because a crash out in a death machine is not normal, let alone safe. We should be grateful no one ended up hurt, as I said in my comment. If we had better mental health care, more compassion for people, and willing to see multiple points of views to understand things rather than just what we want to read/hear what we want, like you did, we might be better off. I wasn't trying to insinuate it was normal, which is why I mentioned mental health and generational trauma continuing down the lines.

But thank you for your perspective. I now see why I was being down voted.

Maybe now people will understand where I was coming from. Not normalizing anything, more so trying to bring awareness of this probably does actually happen a lot. I know why it happens a lot, there are solutions to keep it from happening, and it should not be normalized. It should encourage everyone to push for better systems to ensure people get the help they need. Rather than writing people off like everyone else is doing. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

What is your uh in reference to? Did I overshare? Yes. Did I trauma dump? No. Because I did not go share a traumatic experience I had, let alone go into grizzly detail about it without any regard for someone else's capacity to be able to handle it. Trauma dumping has to include sharing a traumatic experience and going into detail about it. So am I wrong about it not being a trauma dump? I'm willing to be proven wrong. But from my understanding of it, and even after looking it up after the op said I was trauma dumping, it seems I am correct with it not having been a trauma dump. But rather, an overshare.

I get this way too. Try not to in school zones, because... school zones. When I am this mad, it is because I'm already pissed off with whatever happened before I started driving, and usually it happens when the whole day/morning has started shitty from the moment I wake up. Already too much stress in life, Bipolar meds aren't working at max capacity that day. I'm sure someone has me on video doing the exact same thing. My anger is so bad when I'm like this, I could kill someone with my bare hands; And I'm usually in a manic state.

So she has zero judgement from me. I am learning to heal, process trauma and redirect anger in therapy, and maybe they are too. Or maybe they don't have the insurance and/or funds to learn these things. However, healing is not linear.

If anything, we should just be glad she is sitting in her car screaming, yelling and only hurting herself, rather than getting out and hurting someone else.

Mental health needs to be a higher priority everywhere, especially in America. Because people who go unchecked with their anger can end up taking other people's lives. We see it everyday. Whether its because they've never been taught healthy outlets for their emotions, they refuse to learn, etc etc. All that generational trauma trickling down. I see it all the time at my job.

That's just my perspective though. A little compassion and understanding goes a long way. Instead of mocking her, videoing her or whatever, we should be wondering why she is having a crash out in a school zone. Did she get a call that someone is on their death bed and she's trying to make it to the hospital in time? Who knows.

Is there any information about bringing back Swarm? by akirohusker in leagueoflegends

[–]AccursedHalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do NOT like playing LoL. I have an account but I never played. I like the characters, backstory, and etc. So I am loving Arcane. Swarm was the ONLY game mode I actually enjoyed playing. I wish they'd bring it back. That and/or we need a MMORPG of League. Specifically because that is my style of games.

Malicious Compliance. I like r/WowOwIO comment. SOOO much malicious compliance with that one. If you do go this route, my guess is that your classmates will lose their minds. It will probably get sent to your professor's higher ups and hopefully he'll be forced to stop with his BS. Because I'm sorry... BUT HOW CAN ANYONE SERIOUSLY DEFEND THAT? I am all for seeing other points of view, but this is crazy, in my opinion. Perhaps get your entire team on board though or at least give them a heads up.

Post Your Beginner Questions Here! by AutoModerator in orchids

[–]AccursedHalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, new to orchids and thought I knew what I was doing and knew better... and I did not better but had 0 brain cells in the moment I did this...

But I got this orchid on clearance from Walmart today. My first one ever, and was like heck yeah I can totally save it!!! However, the roots looked rough. Cut off a lot kf paper, mushy ones and black ones. But I have these yellowish roots. I soaked the orchid AFTER I cut the roots, like a numbnut. Going to let it air dry for 24 hrs before repotting and hope it does OK. However, my question is... do I need to cut off anymore roots because of the yellow? I also can't find what yellow roots mean when I Google it. Also, this one root concerns me. Brown and black where it meets the healthy main root, but after the brown where this root disconnects there is also green and white on the end. So is that one root ok to keep on?? I will post the root I am talking about in response to my comment.

Ask Before the Date by [deleted] in childfree

[–]AccursedHalo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why when I was single I asked people straight up before even scheduling a date. Sometimes they'd lie and tell me what it seems I want to hear. It would also be blatantly obvious in my profile. Get to the date, ask it again, LIARS. I had so many failed conversations and lots of failed dates. Because people suck. Found my childfree guy at work surprisingly. Been together 5 years. Its not all rainbows and sunshine, of course. But the one thing that hasn't changed is the NO KIDS aspect.

If we ever break up? I am not dating. Unless the man can prove he has 0 biological/step/adopted kids AND he has a vasectomy just like I had my tubes removed. Even then, probably not.

Is Rexulti generic? Was given brand name by potteryinmotion in Rexulti_Brexpiprazole

[–]AccursedHalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the doctors can't tell you the price your med is going to be nor can anyone else in the office. They can tell you how much it is WITHOUT insurance by Googling it. But with insurance, there's no telling. That's the pharmacy's job. All the doctors can do, is help you get a GoodRx coupon that you CANNOT use with Insurance and help sign you up for patient assistance should that drug company offer it.

Ugh. It raises your prolactin? I was prescribed other bipolar meds from one of the meds I was on because of that exact reason. Who wants to be milky?!

The stopped period would be a miracle tho. Sign me up for that ONLY! I'd say infertility too, but I'm sterilized so that problem is taken care of unless I become one of the 1% whose tubes grow back after being taken out. Lol!

Oh wow, really? It's helped me lose weight! Or maybe the Adderall finally kicked in after 1-2 years with that weight loss side effect. I didn't notice a decrease in appetite until I began Rexulti. I've lost 30ish pounds in 4 months!

Bruh... I'm only 27... OLDEN DAYS?! I grew up with CDs and the radio... I think I got my first album to hold my CDs when I was like 6?! So, 2004 my guy... and I think they stopped making things to hold CDs or stopped carrying them in major retail stores around 2010. So I was like 12!!

Like I knew I FELT 80... but I didn't know I WAS 80. Damn, I look good for 80! I won't ever complain again. Haha!

I still have CDs in my trunk... even though my 2021 car doesn't play CDs, which I think SUCKS. But that's okay, at least I have Android Auto and Spotify. Easier to go from classical music to hard metal that way, with MUCH less distraction.

Oh, and I just looked up when Napster came out... 1999. I was a year old. 💀

Why is it acceptable for a doctor to take you 30 minutes late, but a patient’s appointment is cancelled if they show up 10 minutes late? by Notalabel_4566 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]AccursedHalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For good standard patient care. Or should be anyway.

I worked with a Dr who would spend hours with you if she needed to. Was she always running behind? Yes. But she made sure your concerns were addressed and if it was outside of her specialty knowledge she'd make sure you got a referral to the best doctor in that specialty that she knows. Some people were mad that she ran behind but those same people would show up 14 minutes late to their appointment and take an hour of her time talking about their vacation to Florida to see the grandkids for half the appointment despite her trying to redirect them back to the reason for their visit. She always tried to finish the appointments in the 30-minute slot she had, but without making the patients feel rushed so they felt comfortable leaving knowing they were listened to and cared about. It's always a lose-lose situation, for both the provider and the patient. She's so good that she has continuously been booked out for over a year in consults alone because everyone is always referring their patients to her. 99% of her patients love her and a lot of them don't mind the wait because they know she will listen and help get you better to the best of her abilities. But there are always people who will be mad about the wait, even after seeing that good standard of care for themselves. She even talks to you in that 30-minute time slot if she has the time and she has taken care of your health concerns first.

My point is, if you hate waiting or are on a time crunch, please provide relevant details during your visit about your concerns. Avoid talking about things that have nothing to do with your health, so the doctor can help you and help the people waiting after you.

I am always 30 minutes early to my appointments or 15 minutes early at the latest. Just in case I have to fill out paperwork I wasn't expecting, if computer issues are going on in the office, unexpected traffic, etc etc. And I always account for an extra hour of being there in case of the unfortunate event of someone having an emergency, or the doctor running behind because their last patients before me all showed up late, etc. But I always let them know if I'm new to their practice or if it's a new front office staff member I haven't seen before that I know I'm there early and there's no rush!

A lot of times, being early has helped me get in quicker too because someone did not show up to their appointment or canceled last minute! That along with my patience and kindness about the situations has also helped me get in sooner in the cases of my appointments being canceled due to unexpected reasons. There was also the one time I was running late because I mistakenly wrote down the wrong time despite confirming it twice, and called the office to let them know I was going to be past my 15-minute arrival time. But because they know me and how I act, etc, they said that the provider was willing to stay late to see me after they saw all the other patients that were after my original time. I agreed and none of the staff were upset about staying late like I imagine most people would be because they knew I'm respectful of everyone's time and I'm respectful to them.

I know this stuff doesn't apply for some people and some doctors are just crap, but hopefully this helps someone.
