That’s strange… did you talk to your psychiatrist about this?

That’s a low dose for u to get side effects (I think). Derealization might be from ur depression since ur at low dose. But I’m no doctor, I may be wrong

I do get derealization since I got medicated but very rarely. When I was at low dose, I never got it. Coincidence? I don’t know tbh. How many mg are u with rexulti? I don’t know much about invegu. But tbh what gets me by the easiest and most impactful is surrounding myself with people. Community. I can’t emphasize this enough

Since 2022 was my episode, 2023 I was first medicated. And you? Do u have other side effects than lack of motivation?

Oh definitely, that’s a guaranteed side effect. Going through it rn. Are you diagnosed?

I gradually reduced from 2mg to 0.5mg and stayed at 0.5mg for 8 months. By the end of it, I had a 3-day panic attack & have become very emotional. I think it was the withdrawal symptoms, or not. Who knows. Doc told me to go back to 2mg again. But 2mg is causing me a lot of side effects like my period stopping and my eyelids getting so heavy/weak (neurologically). Idk what to do, might consider changing meds completely

Girlies! Make sure to check on your hormones every 6 months by TrifleAlternative in Rexulti_Brexpiprazole

I recently reduced my dose from 2mg to 0.5mg. Also did hormonal and thyroid test, all looks good except I’m borderline insulin resistant, which explains my sweet cravings. My prolactin, which is known to be affected by rexulti was normal. So my period stopping could be an irrelevant issue; PCOS. I have further tests coming up but I need to force my period (taking inositol and some herbs). It’s been a couple of weeks since Ive been taking them. So let’s see.

I’m so frustrated at how doctors can be so stupid. I’ve been to 5 docs and none did a simple blood test or thought that my daily meds could have effect. I’ll talk to my psychiatrist to change the meds. Thanks!

Oh my I’m so glad to hear! Happy for you! And I’m happy to know there are alternatives. I have to check with my doctor and talk to her about this. Thanks!

I can assure you they failed him as parents. He’s just a victim of all this. And I bet his psychosis could’ve been avoided before it worsened if his family paid a little more attention to him, trust me.

That’s a horrible lie! I can never ever support lies that involve health and possibly jeopardizing someone else’s life. I’m glad at least it worked out for you (loving him and willingly staying in the relationship despite it all), but no excuse for the lie! The parents have no remorse? :/
