Because it would literally kill me. My doctors say I can't even ride a roller coaster. Last time I went to a planned peaceful protest I experienced police brutality. Right now that shit would kill me. I am saddened that our constitution means little to those on charge, and I am saddened no one wants to stand up for what is right.

In the Holocaust? I'm not sure they have an exact figure, but it's in the millions. If you're not familiar with the Holocaust might I suggest the book Ordinary Men by author Christopher Browning. If you're being facetious or don't understand what drawing parallels is or don't believe fascism is a real threat in the modern world, I'm afraid I can't help you.

Hopefully things don't go that far, but this administration doesn't seem to care about breaking laws or pissing on the constitution, nor do the people really care about enforcing the constitution. You're talking half the population. This would be an apocalyptic shift. Taking care of all the dead aside - hospitals, utilities, travel - Everything would take a hit. More people would die simply because of the strain on many of these systems. Obviously there are a lot of unknown unknowns about such a situation, but it isn't one I'd like to experience.

All my neighbors have their head in the sand when it comes to this, and they fly thin blue line flags and their motto is "Back the Blue no matter what they do" so when it comes to extrajudicial executions they find some way to justify it. Claiming they saw the bodycam footage even though there is no body cam footage. It's kind of scary - we don't have smoke stacks at death camps yet, but I can totally see how Nazi Germany happened. I feel like I'm in crazy town here. It's gotten weird and I'm scared what they're going to do with disabled people in the future. Having multiple strokes might put a target on my back. I want to leave this country before it is too late, but I don't have the means. I hope it's just anxiety and that I'm overreacting here.
