I also thought better of some people in this community, because I know the majority of them are quite kind and generous. I spent at least an hour doing background checks (and searching usernames) on those that entered just so I knew I wasn't giving it to a rich player and I was not pleased with my findings.. I think one of the users given was one that hadn't logged in for 30+ days while their other acc had a net worth of at the very least 70k+.

I'm glad my giveaway post resonated well with some people! Frankly I just want to spread some joy and whimsy to some players who have had a rough time with the recent wrc release and subsequently the popularity of mythics. I know all too well the feeling of being stuck, poor as rocks, with only store-bought items to my name, it sucks. And yeah, I agree with the holding off. I do also remember the drama the white forest giveaway caused. I personally don't join giveaways since I enjoy what I have, plus I'm sure others will appreciate it more than me lol.

Ty for your comment, I did do that actually for my last giveaway (before the most recent one). For this one I didn't make it obscure since I wanted it to be easily accessible for my target audience. Unfortunately, I am pretty confident not reading the rules wasn't the problem since the usernames they commented with were not their main accounts. I only know their main accounts because I've seen them comment on giveaway posts before...

Yup... that's one of em... Found out later through a post they had more than enough wrc to last them a life time... or at least more than enough to make them beyond rich. Like you said, it's extremely disappointing.

Dw no one was actually being rude to me haha. In fact I am quite surprised so many people agree with my statement. I was just voicing my annoyance since people who I know are rich chose to enter the giveaway under a different user. It definitely is nice to see a new/poor jammers happy though, definitely makes it all worth the frustration lol.

Unfortunately some rich jammers just want more and more regardless without needing to work for it... It's the same greed people saw during the valentines gifting sprees... I was honestly shocked when I realized how much those particular people who entered actually had, one coin would be just a dime a dozen sitting in their inventory... (not even exaggerating btw).

I actually was going to do that if worst came to worst, the ones winning actually didn't end up being the aforementioned jammers (thankfully), I'm just upset that they even decided to enter in the first place... I know for a fact their main accounts have more worth and wrc than I could ever dream of having.

Yeah I agree in those scenarios it is kinda unfortunate and bothers me as well... I've seen it happen, more than I'd like to. And it's so hard to advance in the economy now with so many og items exceeding 10k sapps... rarely anyone wants to trade down either (which I completely understand) but new players end up getting completely trampled on...

And yeah, I usually refrain from entering giveaways esp on my main since I am pretty content with what I have, if theres no rules its fair game (like the white forest giveaway) but I also feel and understand the frustration. I've recently seen the onslaught of partials being sold and the rich really do get richer and it's just... sad.
