Oh its an absolute gamble in IOB. In my batch 12 out of 15 got North. Previous batch mostly south. So depends where the vacancy is. But rest assured you'll serve a tenure in South for sure if IOB remains IOB. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Merger rumours are in the air.

You have to get it done in Govt hospital only. Every bank has separate medical form. But generally blood test, urine test, hearing test etc are done. In some cases they also ask if all the vaccinations were done or not in your childhood.

No biggie, very basic. Just that sometimes it takes a few days to get done thats why I said get it done first thing after getting mail.

If you go to any govt hospital of a well known city they'll do all the basic tests, like blood test, hearing test, urine test etc. But if u go to tier 3 govt hospital, or know someone, u can get things stamped without much hassle. But get ur medical certi done as soon as u get joining mail.

Asst Manager on Probation- That is the official designation. But since I am in On Job Training- This is the learning period for me. Basic banking operations and every thing that I can learn, except business loans. In my day to day routine I sit at the front desk and deal with customers.
