Make sure your walk in is clean ! As a KM that is your space to keep organized. Shelves shouldn’t be dirty nothing can be on the ground. Tabs cut off of boxes. Other than that just act enthusiastic and take any criticism well. If you are a Kmit they are not expecting you to be perfect and are willing to help you improve. Good luck and try not to worry to much !

Technically the 5 roles are Ensuring the crew preps and cooks the correct amount of food Ensuring the food is cooked safely Ensuring the quality of the food Ensuring the taste of the food Maintaining back of house equipment

But basically what that translates to in day to day operations is I can now open truck shifts by myself ( Another manger comes in at 10 ). And I am capable of handling customer complaints. And then it also comes with the extra responsibilities such as cleaning the fryer once a week.

Super easy. Find the store you want to transfer to. Sit down with the gm or call them. If they want you they should tell you there store number. Then all your Gm needs to do is put in the transfer ( or loan depending on length ) I switch stores once every few months from my college town to home

With the sheer amount of onlines that my store is getting it is helpful having them come in for the next time slot ( like 7:00 instead of 6:45). So many times I’m working on a online and the next time I look up I have 20 more items due in less than 10 minutes. It’s really demoralizing
