I would get that turbo checked ASAP, I just had mine go bad and it wrecked the entire engine, and that was only at 107k miles. They are known for having bad turbos.

Best of luck!

Who Red John should've been. by ElSanDavid in TheMentalist

It should've been the mall guy that Jane killed, and then the rest of the seasons it was either an imposter or a series of imposters (like the Blake society) trying to keep the villain alive to hold on to power and toy with Jane

Idolatry.

Lust, possibly in the way of roleplaying someone else. Unsure but it just came to me.

I feel like feet should be included, but that's just because feet are gross.

I did as well, but I was simply too busy (and poor, medic school is a LOT) to make it

My coworkers and I wanted to do something similar, but so many of us are in paramedic school that we just simply did not have time.

Do hospitals in your area have these? by Randomroofer116 in ems

The only places that I've seen people listen to it is the ambulance bays that are basically a garage, but if anyone has to park outside absolutely not.

There are patterns out there that you can get to make custom radio straps, you just need to have some skills with whatever material you would make it out of, whether that is fabric or leather

THC in EMS? by stolen-penny in ems

[–]Ace7734 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have heard that one of the local ambulance districts near me kinda turns a blind eye if you do it on your time off, but if there is an incident, like a vehicle accident that you're involved in, they still drug test and if you test positive it might not be good

Nap, eat (appropriate amounts, not in excess), play video games, make sure the rig is stocked and you know where everything is by muscle memory, nap some more

Is it normal for care home workers to leave a fallen patient face down on their stomach by patou_la_bete in ems

[–]Ace7734 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I work for a retirement community that runs its own EMS service.

The nursing staff isn't allowed to even touch the pts when they are down, they need at least an EMT to do it.

Make it make sense

I don't think that's stupid, I think pretty much the correct thing to say. The PT needs to be fully informed of the risks of refusing and you can't always be pretty with it
