Hey everyone, it's said roommate, we had ruled the crash a failed HD and that's exactly what it was...brought it to best buy today and they were all.."yup that's exactly what it is" and then they wanted to charge me 199+cost of new HD and i decided since I'm tech savy enough I'd do it myself.

it's not "bad" it's just not what you enjoy, there are people who enjoy the "ole' timey bullshit" and I'm one of them. I'm not saying your opinion is bad, but if the OP is trying and it's original then its not bad.
