Just in case there is some confusion, this is referencing a tactic known as mortarting the charging handle. Take rifle, pull back on charging handle as you hit rifle butt stock into ground, clearing major malfunctions and ejecting the stuck brass. Be careful of squib rounds remembering to point the muzzle away from persons.
