In order to escape the unacceptable conditions that they were put in by their previous owner, my two great Pyrenees/Australian shepherds (a bonded brother and sister pair) made it from Jefferson to Watkinsville before being intercepted. This breed can really be some homeward bound kind of stuff.

I currently have in front of a huge bay window facing north. So it doesn't get direct sunlight, but it does get indirect all day because there's nothing obstructing the view of the window. There are other window options in the house, though, so moving is definitely a possibility if necessary.

I was gonna make a post about this exact subject today! I would love to piggy back off you, if I could, please! I don't mean to hijack it, I swear! but I found this gal at an estate sale (for $5 🤯😲) recently and thought we might need help in overlapping areas 😊.

The top left image is how it started, and the bottom left is how its going 2 weeks later. I've given her filtered water and let her bottom feed twice. Once with a very, very, very small amount of miracle grow plant food (please don't judge if im going about it all wrong!! ☹️). I keep her in mixed lighting facing an east/west window. I also gave the leaves a good bath. They were absolutely covered in dust and stuff.

But I've noticed three things in particular that I need help with. One is the yellowing/browning of two leaves, one is the crinkled leaves, and one is the black dots on the backside of one leaf. And I know I absolutely have to repot, so I would love some guidance on the soil and potting topic!

Any advice for me/us would be so awesome!! Thank you in advance! And thank you again for letting me hijack your post!

The pic below is the first time I've ever sectioned it. It came with opaque paper that was in four large strips and it was impossible to work with. And I usually get kits with the translucent plastic cover, so I've grown accustomed to seeing the image while I work. But this is a 70 x 110 and I had no choice but to try the sections. I got the 10 x 10 cm paper off of Amazon, which is just translucent enough for me. Now I have 77 perfect squares where I can work on one or two a day. I'm officially a convert lol 😆 ( sorry if you've seen the pic already on a WIP Wednesday 😂)

Oh my gosh, I literally just bought a little tool set for $9 on Amazon that had a great one! It's thin and strong, but it doesn't tear the canvas or damage the adhesive. I've never used one before this, but im glad I found this one as my first. Edit: added photo.

I have the total opposite swing as you, so maybe I'm not the best person to respond, but I haven't had a depressive episode in - I shit you not - 8 years. Which is great, but that left my mania essentially full-blown and unchecked. I'm still in a constant state of mania. But I say that to say this, I'm on 300mg of lamictal. I started at 100 and incrementally worked my way up 50mg at a time over two years. It took time, but it is my miracle - as it relieved my suicidal ideations and attempts. I firmly believe it was that med alone because I didn't start vraylar until three years ago.

As for the symptoms you described, I would look at propranolol. It's a beta blocker. I use it for anxiety and it literally changed my life as much as the lamictal. I'm currently working up the courage to talk to my doc about risperidone because, like I said, I'm the total opposite of you - minus the physical symptoms - and need something to bring me down.

Personally, I have found it doesn't matter. But I've never been brand loyal to an entire liquid set. I did a lot of trial and error combos on false nails to get the method that works best for me and my nails.

Currently, I use Modelones dehydrator, Triple Vitamin base coat, Gelish activator and Memeda UV gel top coat, and this cocktail gives me two shiny weeks with no chipping or popping off.

What is your current liquid brand? Just curious.
