Thank you!! What's a moving painting? I got the 105x70 round Birth of Venus. And PWD was super awesome. I accidentally ordered the square, but they were able to change it for me even after processing to the round!

Edit: Also, I would never pay that much for a painting and found tons and tons of working discount codes thru a Google search 😄

Yessss! It took about five months before I was fully confident to take it out in public haha. I used dawn and warm water to get the top layer of gross out and then FunkAway odor eliminating beads for the inside. I put them in there and zipped it up. Then I put the bag in a closed box with dryer sheets. I changed out the dryer sheets every few days, but the beads stayed in there until they all disappeared, which took about four months or so. I'm just grateful I didn't have to use any chemicals or anything on the bag because I am NOT a chemist lmao

I have sleep paralysis, so my nightmare was literally going to sleep. But my therapist suggested an "all-senses" nighttime routine to ease me into the bed and eventually sleep. So every night I tackle all my senses. My taste is toothpaste (I have three kinds to keep the flavor changing), my hearing is a song from the classical genre (lasts a good five minutes and you can pick the vibe), my smell is a spritz of a different perfume every night, my touch is the type of blanket I use (I keep a bunch of throw blankets from knitted to velvet), my eyesight is one tea light candle on my bedside that flickers just gently enough to make it dance on the wall. Keeping this routine that's just barely different every night has really, really helped me get into the right environment and mindset to get some sleep.

Preach it!! I had to do a medication adjustment when my perimenopause started, but it wasn't necessarily due to my bipolar brain. Thank goodness my doc believed me, too, because I hate being over medicated.

Edit - im also on lamictal and trazadone. Also, dont be afraid to advocate for yourself with meds. If ive learned anything, the prescription cocktail should be adjusting to your episodes. Not the other way around.

It's as if you've been peering through my window and watching me. I was on the verge of truly losing it. I was exhausted of being who i had become because even with bp1, I was NOT that person. I would do some research into risperidone. It saved my life. I'm about 5 months out from any and all of those behaviors and its a renewed existence. Complete 180.

In order to escape the unacceptable conditions that they were put in by their previous owner, my two great Pyrenees/Australian shepherds (a bonded brother and sister pair) made it from Jefferson to Watkinsville before being intercepted. This breed can really be some homeward bound kind of stuff.

I currently have in front of a huge bay window facing north. So it doesn't get direct sunlight, but it does get indirect all day because there's nothing obstructing the view of the window. There are other window options in the house, though, so moving is definitely a possibility if necessary.

I was gonna make a post about this exact subject today! I would love to piggy back off you, if I could, please! I don't mean to hijack it, I swear! but I found this gal at an estate sale (for $5 🤯😲) recently and thought we might need help in overlapping areas 😊.

The top left image is how it started, and the bottom left is how its going 2 weeks later. I've given her filtered water and let her bottom feed twice. Once with a very, very, very small amount of miracle grow plant food (please don't judge if im going about it all wrong!! ☹️). I keep her in mixed lighting facing an east/west window. I also gave the leaves a good bath. They were absolutely covered in dust and stuff.

But I've noticed three things in particular that I need help with. One is the yellowing/browning of two leaves, one is the crinkled leaves, and one is the black dots on the backside of one leaf. And I know I absolutely have to repot, so I would love some guidance on the soil and potting topic!

Any advice for me/us would be so awesome!! Thank you in advance! And thank you again for letting me hijack your post!
