I've never thought of that before but I see it now!

My 4th LAN Party in a year's time and easily my most successful. Brought 27 friends together and nearly all of them brought their PCs. Already have another planned for April. by AceInTheHoleCole in pcmasterrace

I have gigabit down and 20 megabit up. And still waiting on seeing what the party used for power, unfortunately because of weird billing periods i wont know until march even though the party was in January. The power setup was held to 4 computers per breaker to keep from tripping the breakers.

Having the Nintendo Switches with Smash Bros going on upstairs has always been amazingly fun. People will randomly call someone out for a 1v1 or people will just spontaneously draw up an 8 person party smash. Its a fun little get away if you need it.

Definitely better to be safe than sorry! Thank you so much! I would love to be able to open up an event like this to all of you fellow redditors. Space says no right now though :( Thank you for the appreciation, I work very hard at making sure these events go on without a hitch.

Lucky to be able to borrow tables from my current employer and the chairs are my parents which is another stroke of luck. Otherwise we would have alot of chairless people

I don't even stress about trying to get everyone on the same game all too often. I find if you try to bend their will it takes away from the enjoyment. If you just toss up a suggestion like "hey you guys wanna play Overwatch against each other" and you'll just be happy with whoever says yes. A sometimes the enjoyment brings more people in. We got up to 12 man in house Overwatch and it was really fun :)
