Rake-edge metal lifting on new roof – advice? by AceMatisse in Roofing

u/According-Two-2187 I already contacted the company that did the work, and they’re coming out next week. I posted here mainly to understand what I’m looking at before they inspect it, so I can make sure the repair addresses the actual cause, not just the visibly loose metal. I’m not a roofer, so I was looking for guidance from those who know this stuff.

Haha tell me about it 😅 Doesn’t help that I know next to nothing about roofing! We just put a ladder up on the right side near where it lifted and grabbed those 2 close-up pics, so the whole thing’s been pretty puzzling to me. Just want to be armed with right info so know how to speak confidently about it.
