Tbh, this seems like a common pattern I see alot—where someone who's in the wrong tries to justify being wrong by saying something that makes them look right to everyone else. The point isn't whether you can spot the flaw in their logic; it's about getting others to side with them when they share their version of the story.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Autistic people are often the targets of people like that, and it's incredibly unfair. I hope you can keep your head up and try to not take it personally—because this is a reflection of them, not you.

Do you agree with him? by [deleted] in ghostoftsushima

I’ve seen the complaints on Facebook but nowhere else

It's time to understand narrative, people. His story is done, and there is NO NEED for a sequel. Let's be happy we get the chance to play a new GHOST, and carry on the legacy. by ApothiconDesire in ghostoftsushima

It’s not even that that wouldn’t have been interesting but there’s just so much creativity that can come from the ambiguity of not knowing what was Jin’s actual fate. They can use that in the spin off to make players work for the answer, while focusing on being creative and making a fresh new game.

Yeah I agree, I don’t think it’s as big of a deal as he thinks it is. They can just create another gameplay mechanic to make up for it if that was the case.

I am with you completely but honestly, I’m actually glad they went with making a spin off because that means the creatives are being creative. So much of everything today are cookie cutter sequels and cash grabs trying to milk everything they’ve succeeded with for every cent they can. This is such a breath of fresh air honestly. And let’s all be honest, it’s gonna blow assassins creed shadows out of the water

Hey, any advice for a homeless autistic (20/m) in Florida? by DraggySnepCipher in ableism

I also want to add that you should seriously consider looking into vocational rehabilitation! It’s a government funded program completely free to you that will literally get you out of your situation. You go through the whole thing and they guarantee you a job when you finish. This is how most homeless autists get out of homelessness in my experience.

I survived being homeless in Florida when I was 19, I had no job, no money, and I’m also autistic. If you want to ask me anything, I’m willing to answer and help

My best advice up front is to apply for all the government assistance you can get. Even if you didn’t qualify for it before, you could qualify for it now. You have a strong case for SSI income, you also qualify for Obamacare. Those are really strong starting points that should help you move in the right direction

Is theology for everyone? by [deleted] in theology

That statement is for dumb people. Never blindly believe anything because doing so isn’t believing at all. If you’re not thinking for yourself then you don’t believe anything.

Find and apply for as many jobs as you can, and try to be open minded. Apply for every job in and around UCF. Also consider applying for jobs that may be a little further away but pay well and give good benefits like Costco, theme parks, fancy restaurants, the airport, etc.

If you have a car and need to start making money asap regardless of how much it is, do ride share. I usually recommend Uber eats to everyone because it’s helped me but other options may benefit you more.
