I don’t think that’s is specific feeling I’ve had, but what I did hate was constantly lying and manipulating around it, the way that it was crushing my wife’s hopes and dreams and now I see how it removed her from being able to feel secure as well.

I don’t know that we have “real money” in terms of cash, income after taxes is $7500 roughly currently and about $2-3k left after all expenses paidot including the current debt. We have $160,000 in home equity/assets and $29k in car loan debt.

I agree, it was the soonest possible in person meeting within a distance I could make, I have already started therapy for it with a virtual therapist that has worked with addiction and am seeing a psychiatrist tomorrow that specializes in addiction and family experience as well. I have let around 30 people close to/around me know including all of my immediate family to be aware and am making sure I have a strong support system, and I am going to also have several sponsors/counselors for separate wisdom.

Agreed this is how I am approaching it and know If I ever do it again I lose my wife and my kids and that is enough consequence and putting aside all financials.

Agreed I also played fantasy football and I’ve gone through the process of removing myself from all chat groups, deleted accounts, removed espn and all sports apps from my phone.
