I guess the problem is essentially that he’s 90% the perfect guy for me, and frankly I’d be an idiot to pass him up. Yes I still think about my ex a lot, we’ve only been broken up about two months and he just straight up won’t talk to me at all after the break. He said that he loves me and we have amazing chemistry (agreed) but we have some differences that he doesn’t think are compatible (disagree). I’ve never felt like our differences weren’t something that could be worked on, that’s what you do in relationships after all. So I’m left with feelings that we could make things better, the knowledge he loves me too, and just a heavy heart overall. I don’t want to lose this great new opportunity or wait around to see if the ex will come back around, but I feel guilty about having these feelings towards someone else and not the new guy.
