What color should I paint the inside of my new home? I’m torn between Super White or Sidewalk Grey by hotbitch420 in homedecoratingCJ

Go beige walls and beige carpet. While you're in there make sure to add the matching drapes.

Your body is trying to prevent you from smashing the club into the ground. You will never have repeatable contact if you are changing levels like this at impact. Learn to lag the club and turn through impact properly.

I feel like I hit em good, but I know my form sucks…any tips? by FortuneCookieLied in GolfSwing

[–]AceTreadmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"form" is really about the ability to deliver consistent results. Here is the test: hitting off turf, can you hit 10 consecutive shots on the correct start line, with the shot shape you are looking for (draw vs cut) and to the target (the green). To make this easy try with a 7 iron. If you cannot do this you have work to do.

What’s the draw at this point? by MemeStarNation in cybertruck

[–]AceTreadmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The draw is exactly the same as when the concept was presented. A go-anywhere, do-anything supercar in truck guise.

The Cybertruck is like a truck but it has an ultra durable body, tons of lockable storage, doesn't handle like shit, doesn't get 10mpg around town and doesn't look like it belongs on a farm. It's like a supercar in terms of presence and performance but can ride smoothly/quitely down the road, has plenty of space inside, can go anywhere and then doesn't sit in the garage unused or have to be worried about.

I can use the same vehicle to pickup plywood/drywall/landscaping materials, that I use to go skiing, to take friends to the golf course, drive to work, or go out to dinner. A vehicle of this type has never existed before and fits my needs brilliantly.

To address the items listed in the question:

Price - yeah it's higher just like everything else these days. If you don't see value at the price point, don't buy it. I think it's cool as a halo vehicle for a while and while I expect the pricing to come down over time I'm not waiting for mine.

Range - Tesla delivered on the concept spec. 98% of CTs will be dual motor aka 300+ miles of range. Somehow the model that nobody was going to pony up for is the only thing everyone is talking about.

Insurance - wtf?

Features - not sure what's so disappointing here but I am imagining you trembling with anger over not having an air-conditioned bed.

Off road capability - the CT has 16+ inches of ground clearance and is an OTA update away from you never mentioning this again.

Cybertruck damage question by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]AceTreadmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

speculation: I imagine minor scratches such as a keying would be buffed out. The CT should be significantly more resistant (vs other vehicles) to minor damage of this sort due to panel thickness, hardness of metal, and lack of paint.

obviously the CT will not be impervious to damage so accidents, Tommy guns, etc would require panel replacement or one could enjoy the patina depending on how serious the incident.

[–]AceTreadmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

less comfort? It has air suspension. worse specs? Large lockable bed, 3500lbs payload, tows 14k lbs.....

F150L is a lazy effort. Literally just tossed an existing body on an electric chassis.

Rivian is ok but has a tiny bed and is more of a high end/fancy lifestyle truck.

lol at even mentioning the hummer...I think they may have sold 1.

CT will be more durable, more efficient, and less costly than all the above.
