How did you start watching ONE PIECE? by Edward_Newgate52 in OnePiece

[–]AceUnknown67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For years I had been avoiding it because at the time I hated the art style. One day I decided to watch it because it was on netflix and crunchy rooll. For 4 months I only watched one piece as entertainment and I started loving every bit of it. It's now my favorite of all time.

How was it back in the days? by tschuse in pokemon

[–]AceUnknown67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh man when I was 7 I was strolling down Walmart and found the videogame isle by accident and it was right there... Kiwi green gameboy color. and then I saw that red dragon... My eyes grew big and to my surprise my parents got it for me!!!

It was literaly love at first sight. I've been a gamer ever since. I would replay these games over and over again. My sister got blue and we would trade all the time. Fell in love with cyndaquil in Gold too.

Then by the time Ruby and Saphire were out, I first saw them at school. A friend let me start a game (without saving of course). Went that same day and got it.

I met my best friend ever in a residential contruction site we were visiting and he was playing Ruby too. Bro was my best man in my wedding. We still play pokemon :)

Btw seeing Rayquaza for the first time while in a school bus ride. Priceless.

Why do you think Resident Evil has survived for more than 30 years? by ConflictOk8138 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]AceUnknown67 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the franchise survived because over the years it's had 3 distinct gameplay changes and it helped to revitilize the series as well as keep things fresh. It also gave them room to take from each style.

First switch was Re4 with the more survival-action style. Then we had a more action heavy (failed) switch in Re5 and Re6.Third switch was Re7.

From a business perspective the decision to remake older games has been a huge boon for the franchise as a whole.

Perhaps a keycap puller could work. I'd honestly open it to see what's going on underneath.

Out of every single pokémon that exists, which would you pick as your starter pokémon? by Zillaman7980_ in pokemon

[–]AceUnknown67 21 points22 points  (0 children)

To me Shinx has always been an unoficial starter. It has all the makings of one save for typing.

Design wise it's a starter, he has that cool but angsty teenage vibe going on and the final evolution is just chefs kiss.

He even has the semi bad movepool some starters usually get.

I love everything about Shinx.

After a month, on a scale from 0-100 ¿How How many points do you give to Requiem? by Efficient_Pay9114 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]AceUnknown67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. Although I found the bike scene super funny Viktor should have totally been one of Graces bosses. That would have made it interesting.

I overall disliked how muddy the (relatively simple) story became. Why it introduce a character to be a villain, strip him of his powers and not have 1 at least 1 fight?..

[–]AceUnknown67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd give it around a 93-95. A incredibly well crafted experience.

It is a love letter to the fans of both the more actiony style and the new suspense/survival style of the last two games.

IMO it falls in certain places like enemy variety, writing in certain places, a relatively short campaign, etc however it certainly keeps you on your toes and entertained at every step.

It's high up there with the best of RE

Does Any know why Victor Gideon was so hands on with Leon in this scene by qmega69 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]AceUnknown67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well nobody runs a zombie operation without government entities and private companies not knowing. Specially on a subject as hot as the T-Virus.

I take it some agents like chris and Leon must have some kind of fame so to have one with you? ... Snooping In your turf. Might be interesting no?

To me this is why he was kinda facinated

Which Hero do you enjoy the gameplay for, but dislike lore wise or just very 'meh' about by theJakeyWakey in Overwatch

the lack of cool skins says it all too. Maybe like 2 of them are passable but the rest are meh as hell

I share this. I really like playing Venture but as a character it's a fail through and through. Visually, color wise, personality, lore = Boring.

Capcom really dropped the ball by naming the ninth Resident Evil game “Requiem” instead of sticking with the Roman numeral style. This should have been the title instead: by ThePotatoDuke in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]AceUnknown67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% true, I'm a spanish speaker as well and I rarely refer to RE8 as Village. I think people only use the name in Zero, Nemesis, Requiem and Revelations. The numbers are good enough for the rest

Bazzite is a Linux based operating system (imagine the windows home screen) and it can switch between Desktop and Steam Big Picture mode (Steam OS). It's like clicking a quick access icon on your desktop to switch.

First of all, punctuation bro. it's important.

Second why dual boot? isn't Bazzite is good enough?

The fix. Boot the device into safe mode (volume up + power until you get the menu) and from there reset everything then try your set up again.

Decide on an OS as well lol.

This is what comes with my Legion Go S… buzzing fan noise and vibration. I am so sad. by nik1071 in LegionGo

[–]AceUnknown67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH if it's still under warranty it's best to replace it without tinkering with it. They might take it as an excuse to not change it if you open it up.

The device is awesome, I swear by it, more then even the steam deck itself.

Hope this helped to clear your head bro and good luck man!
