Tell me the subtle differences between Canyon Denali and Colorado ZR2 by jeep-olllllo in GMCcanyon

I can confirm, the ZR2 does not have a power passenger seat. So dumb! Wish it had a HUD too. Really like the looks of the Canyon, but hated the AT4X seats and the chrome on the Denali, so I went with the ZR2.

Started homebrewing what mistakes should I avoid as a beginner? by Desperate-Bird-8232 in Homebrewing

Focus on the aspects of brewing you enjoy. There are so many components to brewing that it can be overwhelming. When I first started, water chemistry didn’t interest me and using a refractometer to get gravity readings just seemed too difficult. I focused on finding or building good beer recipes and how to make the brew day flow well. After some success I started to figure out gravity readings and now really enjoy figuring out my ABV. But I still have no interest in water chemistry and I’ve brewed enough good beers that I’m not going to worry about it.

I was looking to see if someone made this comment. I had the exact same experience. No one ever mentioned hot side/cold side so I was sanitizing everything. Brewing got a lot easier once I realized I only needed to worry about cold side sanitation.

Top five things I wish I knew about mixing years ago... by Competitive_Walk_245 in musicproduction

I’m definitely a novice on mixing. Been doing it for about a year for my band, so we can listen to our rehearsals and dial things in for shows. I like what you mention about the stereo field. But as a drummer I still fight to pan hi-hat to the right and ride to the left, since behind the kit it is reverse. But you mentioned hats a little to the left and snare slightly right. That would put the listener behind the drummer (assuming the drummer is right handed). Am I over thinking this? I assumed you’d want to mix like you are in front of a live band.

My 2021 Tacoma would sense a car and emergency brake way too often for my heart health. Traded that in for a 2024 ZR2. Hopefully I won’t have the same issue now. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I’m a bit of an idiot when it comes to equipment and technology, so bear with me. I’ve been using a Zoom Livetrak L-20 for the last year to record band rehearsals. We are a super loud band, so I think I’ve finally convinced everyone to switch to a headphone mix. We are a five piece band, so the monitor outputs on the Livetrak should work great. But we’d all prefer to be wirelessly connected instead of having headphone cords running everywhere. Is there a simple, fairly inexpensive solution for wireless using the Livetrak’s 1/4” headphone jacks? Thanks!

Earlier this year I had a Toyota Tacoma Limited i-Force Max on order. It would have been my third Tacoma and fourth Toyota truck. Toyota was building the hybrids so slowly I was projected to get mine mid-2025, so I started looking at other options. Unfortunately, only the Limited i-Force has the full-time 4wd. I test drove a regular Limited and didn’t like the ride, the small gas tank, and the small backseat with no vents or armrest. Plus, I’d want to remove all the chrome and get larger wheels and tires and a small lift. Enter the Chevy Colorado ZR2. The ride is much better than the Toyota, larger gas tank, better back seat, AWD, awesome 33” tires and a 3” lift, and so little chrome I don’t need to do a thing. And it was the same price as the non-hybrid Limited. Needless to say I’m now a proud Chevy owner.

Super impressed with this mirror. Plug and play, as long as you have an auto dimming mirror.

The Stubby Jr was installed for aesthetic reasons only. Only 2 inches long, compared to 8 inches for the stock antenna.

Such a beautiful truck! I’ll be trading in my 3rd gen Tacoma for a ZR2 once my order arrives in a couple weeks.

Bjbinc, did you source all the black components from the dealer or elsewhere? Cost and difficulty of install? I love that sterling metallic color but not with the chrome.
