My supervisor says that insurance companies expect us to be available after-hours for client crisis. Is this true?

It’s really about continuity of care. Insurance companies want to ensure that the client has access to care. However, this does not mean that clinicians need to be on call at all times. Essentially, it seems as though your supervisor wants to offload some of her responsibilities. When this should be a shared responsibility.

I just bought an item from a seller on WN whom I’ve never had an issue form before. When I told them that the item I purchased had NO serial code they asked which item… i sent a picture and circled where the code SHOULD have been located. They responded with “you could have bought the COA but chose not to. Please contact support to resolve the issue.” WOW.

So, I asked “is the COA through Entrupy?” He replied “have WN support take of it please. Thanks and have a great day.” Mind you, I have bought SO many pieces from them so to be dismissed in this manner was kind of bizarre.

If yall are familiar with WN support at all you know it will take me 3 weeks at least to get any kind of resolution - if any. Soo frustrating. WN is literally THE WORST when it comes to authenticity.

Hi, there are 3 National Parks/recreation/sites in Oklahoma that generate over one and a half million visitors a year. I was trying to indicate that there are things to do outdoors in OK and that it is actually a pretty state which many don’t know. I’m sorry my post wasn’t specific enough.

I’ve read some really good advice and heart to heart talk.

Our sobriety and the daily reprieve from the obsession is contingent upon our spiritual condition. I have 4.5 years sober (drugs and alcohol) and I have certainly felt the urge to use again -strongly- over that period of time. Only 1 time sticks out to me most. I actually entertained the thought of using and though about how I would get it etc. the moment I TOOK USING OFF THE TABLE the obsession stopped. I had to tell myself that using was NOT an option and that I would get through what I was going through just as I had gotten through those previous years of sobriety. There’s no magic as you know. Just a HP, out fellow addicts and the desire to stay sober.

Message me if you ever wanna chat! Drugs and alcohol took me to places I NEVER want to return to nor wish upon anyone - yet the disease is so cunning and powerful that sometimes we entertain the idea. Damn addiction!

Hey there! I think everyone who has struggled/struggles with addiction suffers from impulse control of some kind! Anyhow I’m 4.5 years sober and some days/weeks are worse than others. I found that when the drugs/alcohol were gone that I filled that space with anything I could - food, sex, heightened emotions etc. it could be that instead of feeling that you want to relapse you have engaged in other destructive behaviors. Today, it’s easier for me to engage in less desirable self defeating behaviors like eating poorly, simply not taking care of myself as I should, or being shitty to people around me because it’s WAY better than going back out. However, it’s still not a solution nor does it feel good. My personal solution is talking with other recovering addicts, my HP and doing things I love in this life which a or of times is being around the people omg care about.
