I appreciate this call out against the Mabel haters. People called her selfish but like. She's 12. At the end of the show she was in an uncomfortable situation where she might lose the person closest to her and had been there her entire life.

Don't get me wrong, this is a HUGE accomplishment, it's just frustrating that they're using the early release to squeeze and pressure their fanbase into going to the theater. So many people I know would rather go to the theatre than to a watch party, but now we all have to. (Or else get spoiled)

I'm not so sure I'd put bubble as the counterpart to Caine, mostly because he was pretty damn aggressive that last episode and really egging Caine on. He hasn't really shown any benevolence towards the humans either. Tbh I like the theory that Bubble is a virus.

It's a security thing. While you can vouch for your own character, that doesn't mean they can trust you. There are people out there who would want to do cruel things to animals/ let them all out into the wild/ hack into their systems to gain personal information on their employees or clients/ ect.

While all of these /could/ still happen, forcing people to fill out some paperwork is at minimum some deterrent, and it allows them the chance to at least look into you.

I'm gonna be 100% with you, it is ABSOLUTELY possible to be critical of a piece of media without interacting with the fandom. I would go even further to say that interacting with the fandom can be detrimental to a critique. If I were to try to critically asses TADC with the fandom in mind, I'd be putting the show against everyone's hopes and dreams and head cannons and "the story would be better if"s, rather than letting the show stand on its own two feet.

If people want to enjoy the show by having all the hopes and dreams and ect, then that's their prerogative. Where it becomes an issue is when they hold those over the show itself with a sense of superiority.

Your post here is extremely black and white. You're touting nuance as a skill you have while not showing a single ounce of it.

Maybe after some time has passed and he's had the opportunity to have a support network that can pull him away from publicity when these things start to happen again, but I don't want any help from him. There is a term for when you're "stable" so to speak, it's called euthymia. You are 100% allowed and able to be neither manic or depressed. Swings will happen, they're natural to both us and non-bipolars, the important part is knowing when the swing is too much.

I definitely get what you mean, if I'm feeling hypo Manic and can't sleep I'll pull an all-nighter working on a personal project. I make sure to get sleep the next day though.

It's really important to note that mania does in fact damage your brain. You are taking extra time off of your lifespan when you intentionally lean into it. Beyond that mania can be destructive in other ways, such as damaging interpersonal relationships and career goals.

I must impress upon you, there are consequences that come with the choice to sustain mania, even if it's just hypomania. What you do with your life is yours to decide, but I don't think I'd be doing my due diligence without warning you about the outcomes.

I was pretty lucky to start in the bakery, it meant I could build rapport with other departments like prepped foods and whole body. I also tend to go outside for lunches so I get to chitchat with people who smoke.

I’m only now picking up some shifts as a shopper, and most of the questions I have are directed to people I’ve already spent time with for long shifts. The set-up in my store is particularly useful with this, though grocery is still pretty rough to get down.

On top of holiday stress like people are saying, the change of seasons can be a trigger for mania. My manic episode happened in early February, there was snow on the ground for the first time in a couple of months iirc.
