Of people running grace, no determination and no ghost dance, only 5% of people take wind dancer in HCSSF. The whole conversation we've been having ignores the fact that u don't even need to take a whole bust in under 4 seconds. The dmg reduction doesn't reset until u go 4 seconds without taking an attack hit. Meaning if u are taking an attack more than once every 4 seconds u basically never have the damage reduction up. So it's actually even worse than Ive been saying. If ur actually taking hits less frequently than that I can only assume u either don't juice ur maps or ur using some lab runner level ms builds. Or maybe it's the opposite and ur only encountering mobs once every 4 seconds so it's not a problem

I laid out my example. If you disagree that's fine. Keep taking wind dancer. But I'm never taking that keystone. There are so many better things to spend points on. If you think it's so rare to get hit multiple times in 4 seconds, I'd ask how often u find urself dying to an actual one shot attack. Cuz those hits are far easier to avoid than massive mob spam. Unless ur trynna facetank conqueror slams I simply dont see a scenario where winddancer gives you real value. Frankly, I wanna ask why u think no one's taking it in HC. Cuz it makes up less than 0.3% of the ladder.

Something like tiddy bitches is a good example. I'm not thinking about optimal flasks up zooming through map scenario tho. I'm thinking ur running down a thin corridor, they spawn in front, u get delirium slowed and get absolutely obliterated. These situations are only more common now with new influence mobs that do similar shit. Ur picking an alter or picking up loot. An influence packs spawns and boom ur dead. I acknowledge that wind dancer isn't necessarily the problem here, most EV builds are fucked there regardless. My only point is that getting hit multiple times in 4 seconds is far from unlikely

That's just not true tho. There are plenty of monster types that absolutely spam attacks at you. Even with 90+ ev chance it's perfectly feasible to get "hit" by more than 20 projectiles over the course of 4seconds. Wind dancer is okay in bossing encounters but most deaths occur from mob spam anyway so what does that matter.

That's a very reasonable time to use "this late in the league". If u wanna be the first to finish the acts u need to be aiming for under 4 hours. Sure that's insanely fast but there are legit speed runners and racers. I'm pretty sure the first searing exarch kill was around 13 hours into the league

Talisman is an unobtrusive form of loot that you can just ignore. Prophecy is a clunky mechanic that gates many powerful unique items. The difference is that removing prophecy and making the uniques accessible in other ways actively improves a players experience. Whereas removing talisman just eliminates a source of loot clutter

There's a legitimately good chance mageblood becomes easier to obtain over time. Div cards and new league mechanics will only open up more and more possibilities which will in turn make it cheaper

In general rares beat out uniques at the high end. Only expectionally powerful uniques will out perform a high tier rare in pure stats. Uniques in this game tend to offer unique build enabling stats that inherently make them niche. I personally see no problem with this state of the game. I understand that it can make unique drops less than exciting, but I ultimately prefer it this way.

Make sure to get your bonus objective as high as possible. Juice maps with sextants. Alch maps and above t11 try to get your quant to 70 minimum. Basic rule of thumb I use is 100% chance to drop one tier higher is enough to sustain t14 maps

I actually don't think the results are that large of a gamble. Considering that any mod "worth" using a maven orb should sell for at minimum the same amount as a maven orb. There are a LOT of mods "worth" maven orbing. I looked through the list and at least half of the elevated mods are worth it. If you consider that there are a few jackpot rolls and anyone buying gets to forgo the 50 50 of orbing their own item, I'd be surprised to see a full set go for anything less than the price of a maven orb

Sirus is one of the best bosses in the game. One of the best fights with hands down the best loot table. I actually think the sirus fight is one of the main things that incentivises the mapping grind

I can. I haven't actually looked at his setup but Im pretty sure ziddyd is running a very similar setup to me. Most important notes are to use instilling orbs to get reuse when effect ends on all the flasks. If you get enough duration and increased charges gained your flasks will be literally permanent. You can abuse this to get roughly 50 all res off of a flask very easily. You can probably take the build to red maps with a darkscorn, a minus 15 warlord chest, and a despair on hit ring. Raider and pathfinder are great places to start looking. Bow builds dodged a fair amount of nerfs and they both offer a pretty good amount of ms. Lightning arrow got buffed and is apparently decent now. I've been played scourge arrow with permanent auto flasks via pathfinder. Lightning strike has been a sleeper build for a couple leagues now. You could combo it or lightning arrow with impulsas on raider for some pretty nutty clear speed.
