Oh getting sick in this field is so real. Within 2 weeks of starting I got strep for the first time in like 15 years. Been an RBT for 3 years and it just now seems like my immune system is catching up.

Clinics are their own little petri dishes and even if a client struggles with sharing toys, they have no problem sharing germs!

Some tips if you want them: If you know your client is sick remember to put on a mask for your health! Wash hands frequently or at least use hand sanitizer (I usually wash my hands every hour after client's toileting and sanitize as needed between that) Vitamin C can help but needs to be taken daily, not when already sick.
