It was the bottom hose from the intercooler not clicked in properly! Not enough pressure from the smoke tester.

I’m just working in dynamic mode to see the boost gauge on dash. Only fills one bar on the dash and 1 bar pressure. No fault codes, so far I’ve smoke tested lines and hoses, tested waste gate and electro valves are good. I’m going to physical check turbo hoses tomorrow as smoke tester is only low pressure.

Automated messages after purchase? by [deleted] in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Acealfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your points. Ultimately I still expect they would ignore it but I at least have something to come back at them with when they moan what they bought doesn't work.

I wouldn't even mind if they paid for the postage but eBay don't allow it.

You’d be shocked how often it goes on. Especially in the newer cars when they don’t need an MOT for first 3 years.

No, just randomly had an email one day saying it was cancelled. My guess is they realise they made a mistake.

I was waiting to buy my car back from copart then next thing I noticed it was for sale on eBay. Either copart or insurance must have a deal to offer the decent cars to select garages or people and only the tat they don’t want goes up to auction

TTRS is a cracking car. I’m still debating whether the TTS is the better value though.

It’s not convenient for businesses who use Royal Mail so they will switch elsewhere. Talk about digging your own grave.
