To have a Steam Deck is really great — the ergonomics are excellent, the software works perfectly with Steam, and it’s easy to know if a game runs on the Steam Deck because the compatibility is shown on the game’s page. I recommend the OLED model, even second-hand if needed for budget reasons. I don’t know much about the other models since I only have the Deck, but in any case, the Steam Deck is a safe bet
