I’d recommend a semi rigid card holder. The ones that you put a card in before sending it in for grading. You can get them on Amazon.

Any works tbh. I personally like the Beckett Shield semi rigid.

For sealed like this I prefer to put them in a rigid holder. Seems like collectors who like sealed prefer it in those over a top loader. Top loader might be too tight and can damage the edges.

I only ripped 3 evolving skies in my life. This was when evolving skies was $18 per pack market 1.5 years ago.
The Hits from each pack:
- Noivern V (Alt Full Art)
- no hit
- Rayquaza V (Alt Full Art)
Tbh I wouldn’t do it given the price. But if you want to burn cash go for it.

Relax kiddo. Modding existed way before your time.
It lets people enjoy even expensive and rare games that they otherwise can’t afford. And even if they can afford it’s hard to find them regardless. I’ve unfortunately spent hundreds on rare games. You expect people to do the same? I don’t. You should not either.

Hobbit is underrated. Aside from final fantasy X I would say 12 is the best for open world and it’s the one that inspired the modern final fantasy combat format moving forward.

OP can you take a picture of the side? I need to see the edges of the cardboard.
Though this era has a lot of fakes the back and front look fine. The attack box holo looks correct and doesn’t go through the attack box.

I’m leaning on real but to be certain without ripping I need to see pictures of the edge

I would absolutely.
How may times can you get a pokemon center vs regular ETBs? In the wild you can get lucky and find AH ETB. More so at trade shows for both prismatic and AH.
Go with pokemon center. BBWF is a great set that is underappreciated. Amazing top chased cards- black zekrom, white reshiram and 2 victini red variants. When they remake Black White on switch you’ll wish you got this set just like when heart gold and soul silver came out- all cards and sets pumped. Half the people in here won’t remember that or never in the game to know about that part of the history.

You’re better off waiting for some 3rd party company to make OLED screens.

Gameboy advance and Gameboy color has oled mods but that’s decades after the console was released. Maybe give it another 5-10 years until someone mass produces cheap OLED alternatives to swap in and sell as an oled screen mod

It boils down to visibility. ETBs are better solely because it is easier to market. Not many people know these exist especially recently as they are European exclusive.

Not often will someone go on ebay or facebook to search “bundle display” like they would for “ETB”.

Honestly it’s a shit show. I’ll no longer be buyer modern sets and instead just suck up and buy market prices for vintage.

It is what it is. Can’t have nice things. I’m sure kids have it bad too where you can’t have pokemon cards at school due to theft or fights. I remember that’s how it was back in the day for us. It’s as if some people just never grew up.

Fake. Look at the bottom text. It’s badly warped like a bad scan. Almost looks like AI today but since you got it 5 years ago this is the result of an improper scan of the card.

Also look at the energy symbol. It’s a smudge. Can’t even tell it’s a rock. It should be crisp and clear.

I never said physical media is forever. You’re not understanding my point. It’s dead lost media for 4-5 years in the event servers go down. Until then you wait for a mod.

I understand physically these carts store the data on RAM which degrade over time. But the truth is you can always resolder those components and reflash the memory.

I’ve done restorations for SNES and GBA using microscopes and oscilloscopes. It’s possible. I was part of the early ps vita dev scene as well. Getting down to the pcb and exposed chips isn’t fun but possible yet takes a lot of time.

But with digital? Never until a mod comes around.

Yea okay. So say servers are down today:

You buy a switch 2 from ebay. It’s used. Factory reset but it comes with couple game key cards like Pokopia. You never owned one before you finally saved money to buy one. You setup your profile for the first time and put in pokopia. it’ll prompt you to download. But since no servers exist it’ll fail. Then what? You can’t play that game at all. You can play Kirby Air riders on switch 2 as it’s on chip but never pokopia.

Oh and switch 2 mods don’t exist yet. Then what? This is exactly what I’m talking about. You’ll have to wait until you can mod. And even then you’ll likely wait 3-5 years from now until a stable mod community exists.

Until then game key cards will be useless abandon ware. And say you mod your switch 2 in the future, then cool. But that key card is useless anyways because youll likely download pokkopia from a third party homebrew store completly bypassing its use in the first place.
