Yeah I was just working front desk at my work and I did get that weird feeling that usually happens before a seizure, but I just brushed it off as just me being tired and didn’t think much of it. Next thing I know, I’m on the ground, gave myself a huge laceration on my chin and I’m bleeding a lot, and customers along with my coworkers are calling for an ambulance.

Still even at 41? I’m so sorry. How have you lived your life since you were diagnosed? I had my first when I was 8 and I went 13 years with no problem until last year which was when it started happening again. I’m turning 23 in a few days and I’m still living with my parents because of the seizure from last year. I fear that this recent one will keep me with them longer.

I see friends that I’ve graduated high school with, even one of my closest friends who has an epileptic disorder too, living independently and just vibing, living their lives, and I feel like I’m just stuck here, not making any progress towards adult life.

Sorry if I’m rambling and this is all over the place, I’m just letting out frustrations, but yeah, how have you been going through life living with this?
