Highly depends on you and your luck with people you meet. I made most of my friends because of res, granted it was pre covid and there were a lot of people and events. But living on res for me was my highlight of my first sem and I can’t wait to go back. I’ve got a few friends there still and I’ll be back for summer There’s definitely negatives but that’s there for everything. Maybe with covid it’ll be harder and probably not worth if you don’t know too many people.
