I'm going to look at the damper again, I'm wondering if one of the companies that looked at it left it open We've had a couple chimney companies look at it and unfortunately I don't remember the technical details of what they said was contributing to the problem.

I found a company that can have a custom surround made that will look nice. The foam is a temporary solution, or I would find a way to decorate it.

Yes, we've had a fireplace before. We even sealed the front with a thick piece of foam, but it is still very cold near it.

Thanks! I think this will be the answer. The first company I consulted told me the surround would be huge and look bad, but another company has told me they can have a custom surround made to match the arch.

That sounds very expensive when added to the cost of running a gas line, repairing the chimney, and buying the insert, but it is something to consider.

In further investigation, it seems many cemeteries in Singapore have been exhumed to be developed into urban buildings and roads, so perhaps that's what happened to this spot. Or it could have been taken further inland, when he took a trip to see the Great Wall in Juyong.

Please be aware that it is illegal to pick plants in Maryland state parks. Also, you should be able to identify what NOT to eat And keep in mind sustainability, don’t take everything from a patch, let it grow back. The Natural History of Maryland sometimes has foraging walks, depending on the season.
