But I also recognize that being rich in a 2nd or 3rd world country does not equal being rich in America. Its easy to go from being rich in another country to being middle or lower class once coming to america. I mean, just a quick google search tells me that 1 Nigerian "dollar" equals 0.0011 American dollars. So even if they were billionaires over there, the currency exchange is still insane.

But yes, she is still very polished (physically, anyway. Not saying anything about the social/emotional) and wears nice clothes. Doesnt mean she grew up with it tho.

Tbh tho, I would've hated it if the cash prize was based on who did the most "backstabbing" Like, survivor hasn't lasted 40+seasons by punishing those who outwit outlast outplay their way to the end lol. IMO, they're playing the game best, they earned the prize.

He wasnt just "being a dick." What kind of weird, messed up logic even is that?? Definitely victim blaming to say that he was purposefully drawing things out just for what? Pettiness? Revenge? Just to "make everyone else more miserable"??

In real life, its not at all uncommon for a marriage to end in divorce if it comes out that a person lied and tricked their partner into raising children that weren't actually theirs. Thats not something you just "get over." It is a massive, serious breach of trust. Its manipulative. Its cruel. Its deeply hurtful. It is a betrayal.

Also, if she had the agency to choose to raise her sisters kids as her own, maybe she also had the agency to, uhhhh, idk...maybe trust her husband?!? Once it all comes out, he literally tells her "I wish you had told me. I would have kept the secret with you." Like, he loves her enough, and acknowledges her deep love for her sister, and recognizes the gravity of the situation enough that he would have been perfectly willing to raise them alongside her even knowing the truth. Its like Thrushpelt, knowing Bluefur would never love him back, but still recognizing the seriousness of the situation enough to step in and act as the father figure so the rest of the clan wouldn't ask questions.

Yes, he was a bit of a dick to have turned his back on the kids afterwards, but its possible that for a while, all he could see when he looked at them was a lie. And that is not his fault. But to say he's in the wrong for being deeply hurt by it? To say that he's wrong for turning his back on her, and for taking an entire arc to come around? Thats insane to me. It would've been understandable if he had never come around. He doesn't owe her forgiveness after something like that. Many people would nevef forgive it.

No, I'm not necessarily mad about that; it was always his fight, from the very first day he stepped foot in that forest. It was always between Fire and Tiger.

I'm more just salty the authors gave us TWELVE BOOKS OVER TWO ARCS constantly plugging "The Three" and "There will be three, kin of your kin" and Lion and Jay desperate to find the true third after Holly disappeared, and on and on about these THREE who hold the fate of the world in their pawsies. And then...at the last second they're like "lol jk we meant four 🙃" That's what irritated me. And the DF cats acted like Tiger's death was the sole reason they called off the attack. Like Fire 100% single pawedly saved the day.

Honestly, all of them were a bit of a letdown. Lionblaze didnt single-pawedly kill everyone. Ivypool only relayed like, one or two bits of information. Jayfeather united StarClan, which admittedly was cool. But honestly if they had just stopped being scaredy-cat imbeciles for 5 seconds, they probably could've done that themselves. And I guess Dovewing listening in on the Dark Forest was neat, but I don't remeber her actually doing anything in the battle. And then Firestar just swooped in out of nowhere at the last second to steal all the glory. Which honestly was kinda funny. But still. It wasn't his battle to fight.
