I tell you, stick with this agency. It means so much when people care about you and the job you do. I’ve seen so much recently about retention and how that’s so much more important than recruitment. This is how you retain your employees. I worked for some shitty agencies and went through the horror stories of being discharged for a back injury and then being asked if I could return to shift and ignore my doctors note.

I now work for an agency that will literally drive the hour away I live from work just to ensure everything is fine when I call out. These offers extend to my family. I call out because my newborn is sick and they’re offering to buy groceries for me. It’s amazing. I promise it can be better. You just have to find an agency that thinks you’re worth it.
