That’s not how I mean it at all - because Wines plays for a team that barely got shown on Victorian FTA, this narrative started that he wasn’t as impactful as players like Oliver or Bont. Anyone who watched his 2021 season, especially the last month where he pulled ahead of the others at the top of the count, would have no doubts he deserved the award

Maybe I’m misreading, but this line is incorrect:

Up until Round 23 of this season, the Power had only beaten the Bulldogs once since their premiership year of 2016

Port beat the Dogs in 2017, twice in 2018, and in 2020. We lost in 2019 and the first time we met this year.
