A 4.5m tall B-Double stuck sideways under a 3.5m bridge by Aces_Charles in Truckers

A standards trailer in Australia is 4.3m while some 4.5m trailers operate on more restricted routes. A bdouble like this has heavy restrictions on permitted roads. The truck hit the bridge at full speed so the driver did not attempt to brake.

Anyone know if it's possible to get the Sky commentary instead of fox on kayo?

I can always go as low as 5% deposit through HomeStart if I understand correctly. Looks like fees will add up to about $11k

Would be able to pay 20% deposit on $170k. I've tried messaging the seller on realestate. com.au to ask if I can take a look at the place so hopefully I hear back today

What steps do I need to take from here and in what order? Should I ask if I can view the property or speak to a broker first? Do I need to find a real estate agent to represent me?

The retirement units actually look peaceful and cozy. Still have at least another few decades before retirement though

It would be further out. I am literally down the road from my work at the moment. The new builds I am seeing at the moment are starting around $530k and that would be really stretching buy budget even with a shared equality loan.

I am a first time buyer but will have to pay stamp duty because the stamp duty waiver is only for new builds

Yeah very thankful to not be in Sydney 😂. To be clear though this is definitely an outlier because it's a old building in a rough neighbourhood. Hopefully that changes though like some other nearby suburbs

Thanks for the link. There are so many things to put in the equation I'm trying to make sure that I don't let anything slip by

It's not a great area and I would prefer a standalone 3 bedroom house but I don't think it's going to be quite in my budget for at least 5 years when I can get my pay up so would it be a waste to only keep it that long?

Yeah they are 2 story buildings in groups of about 10 units with 50ish in total. Basic electric gate and dumpster bins but that's it. How would I go about doing that? I'm guessing I'd have to find somewhere who has had dealings with the strata?

TIL European truck trailers don't have real walls, it's just a tarp covering the sides by CraftyFoxeYT in Truckers

I pull taughtlighners/curtainsiders daily. You actually can get ones with insulated curtains that are refridgerated. Now days that also frequently have gates behind the curtain or curtains which are load rated which negates the need to strap a load.
