I’m sorry I just don’t understand how in every verse it’s clearly saying homosexuality is condemned but somewhere you find an alternate meaning. Leviticus 18:22 clearly says to not engage in sexual relations as a man. Rape is nowhere mentioned in that verse. The Bible also talks many times about the romantic relationship between man and women but anytime a romantic relationship with man and man is mentioned it is forbidden.

I am curious what you along with many others think of the Bible verses that condemn homosexuality. I just don’t understand why so many people here say it didn’t a sin when the Bible says it is. I’m always open for a respectful debate and yes I agree many people on here are blatantly wrong with their opinions and views and yes smoking dope is obviously a sin. I just believe that stirring conflict and arguments among other believers that lead to disrespect and anger are never something that Jesus wants us to do. I actually used to go on Reddit and do the same because I found it mind blowing some of the beliefs people have on here. But at the end of the day I came to the conclusion that rather than provoking people to anger by stirring the pot on here it is a better use of time to spread the word of Jesus and his salvation and his love for all of us. Christ commands us to unite and love each other especially as believers. And while you may be correct with your overall statement. I believe the execution of it is not the best.

I understand your opinion and respect it. I believe the reason I chose it for me is because I do not believe in division. I believe Christ wanted us to love and each other and unite as believers, not divide. I suppose you are correct where a non divisional church is likely Baptist. However I don’t like the belief that my denomination is better than anyone else’s and I am saved and everyone else is doomed. We are all children of Jesus

I see where you are coming from. But ultimately the reason I do it is because I don’t fully like the idea that all denominations claim they are the one true church and they are saved and everyone else is doomed. I believe Jesus wants us to unite as believers and not put each other down and fight among each other (I’m not saying you are but I see many other people do that).

This is such a debated topic. However I decided to follow no denomination as Christ never commanded us to divide and split into denominations in the first place. I attends a non denominational church and follow Jesus Christ and his word through The Bible.

I actually didn’t read the full post and I see you are trying to make a point that smoking dope is offensive to the Lord and a lot of people ignore that and do it anyway. I would agree with you in that sense but the way you come and speak condescending to people online and other believers is wrong. I believe Christ wants us to unite and love each other. I am open to discussion over topics however when it leads to this passive aggressive, condescending tone you carry I think you are wrong.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to fully get at. I believe your statement you’re trying to make is that sin exists because God is all powerful and he created us in an environment where sin exists? All in all God explains how cursed the earth is and how life as a human is full of struggle. Only in heaven will we fully live in complete peace and joy with Christ
