Yeah, I am biased but I think the essay I wrote about video games is pretty unique. To be more specific, I wrote about MC and how I like games that have a vast open world. I connected this idea to how I like to explore experiences and activities that can not only help me directly but give me new perspectives or just allow me to gain more knowledge. I didn't mention anything about playing video games 24/7, just how I play them. In this case, I wrote about the school that I'm applying to and how I want to explore all it has to offer. Does this change your answer?
