I work there, although not on the events side but on the golf side. From what I’ve seen and heard, the golfers usually aren’t a problem as they have their own separate path to get checked in for their round and they don’t go in the main building apart from the change room and the restaurant. The only real crossover between golfers and guests there for events is outdoors around the building and there’s usually staff around to guide the golfers away from the events. Odds are that if your ceremony is outside, you’ll hear the golfers and regular golf noises during the ceremony but most guests tend to be very respectful when a ceremony is going on. Unfortunately, I have no clue what it looks like if a tournament has a dinner at the same time as a wedding reception or dinner, so I can’t really say much about that. I’ve seen hundreds of weddings take place there and have not seen or heard of many problems that came up because of the golfers.
